Brittany Lightner

Brittany was born and raised in Venice, FL and is a second generation graduate of Venice High School. She went on to study Health Science at the University of Florida before moving to Atlanta, GA to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mercer University. Brittany’s always had a passion for helping others and was actively involved with various charitable organizations throughout her schooling. Her work with Best Buddies led her to discover how physical therapy can contribute to a person’s independence, wellbeing, and participation within their community. Brittany moved back to Sarasota County in 2021 to be closer to her ever-growing family and joined Total Therapy Florida in December. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and watching Gator football games with her husband.
