Mark is the clinic director at Total Therapy Florida - Venice. In April 2018, Mark earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida; completing his clinical rotations in Orthopaedic and Neurological Physical Therapy.
Mark was born in Niles, Michigan but after the tragic events of September 11, decided to leave home and enlist in the Navy to serve as an air search and rescue swimmer/aviation electrician. While stationed at NAS Jacksonville, Mark completed two tours with Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom (OEF/OIF) aboard the flight deck of the naval carrier, USS Enterprise.
After six years of service, he left the military to pursue his dream job as a physical therapist. He later obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at the University of Tampa and became a NATA Board Certified Athletic Trainer in June 2015.
While working in Sports Medicine, Mark has logged over two thousand clinical hours with numerous high school and collegiate sports teams including football, volleyball, soccer, and men’s lacrosse–in addition to treating dancers and show performers at Busch Gardens. In his spare time, Mark enjoys watching sports, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and spending time with his wife Jenni, and daughter Adalyn.
