Mark earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine, completing his clinical rotations in Orthopaedic and Neurological Physical Therapy. Mark was born in Niles, Michigan and after the tragic events of September 11, enlisted in the Navy to serve as an air search and rescue swimmer and later as an aviation electrician. While at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Mark completed two tours with Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom aboard the flight deck of the naval carrier USS Enterprise. After six years of service, Mark obtained his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Tampa and became a board certified athletic trainer in June 2015. While working in sports medicine, Mark has logged over two thousand clinical hours with numerous high school and collegiate sports teams including football, volleyball, soccer, and men’s lacrosse–in addition to treating dancers and show performers at Busch Gardens. Mark is very focused on the needs of Veterans and is dedicated to helping local Veterans in our community. In his free time, he enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and spending time with his wife Jenni, and daughter Adalyn.
