Scarlet has been an occupational therapist for 10 years. Originally from Tennessee, she spent her childhood on her family farm and graduated from University of Tennessee in Memphis with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She spent her undergraduate years at Middle Tennessee State University majoring in Community and Public Health.

Scarlet was drawn to occupational therapy because of the special client-therapist relationship she observed working at a clinic in her hometown. She spent the first part of her career as a stroke therapist in an inpatient hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she received her Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist from the American Heart Association.  Her passion is working with people with neurological disorders and implementing creative and evidence-based interventions with her clients to help them meet their goals. She also has an extensive background in home health and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, helping people find practical solutions for maintaining their independence and safety in their home. Additionally, she has experience in treating orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity and has additional training in ergonomics. In her free time, Scarlet enjoys boating in beautiful SWFL with her husband, Chris, and their two young daughters, Azalea and Iris. She lives in Punta Gorda on a starter farm where she and her family raise goats, chickens, ducks, and sheep in efforts to live more self-sufficiently.
